AKF's Mexico office, which spearheads work in South America, is 70 persons strong and has completed large commercial, mixed-use, aviation and healthcare projects.

AKF's work in the Middle East includes, Maritime City Commercial Office Building, Verde Mixed-Use Complex and Taj Exotica Hotel Resort and Spa in Dubai.

AKF's firm members are active in international building design and construction forums, such as The Building Congress of Middle East, ABOK (Russian Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning), CTBI (Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat) and ASHRAE Middle East.
