AKF’s Energy Services Group, with our staff of certified energy managers (CEMs) and energy auditors (CEA), has focused on the existing building market for over 20 years, to identify areas for potential energy and financial savings. Our clients have achieved energy savings which range from 15%- 40%. This improvement in system efficiency directly impacts the utility cost, improves system performance and typically increases occupant comfort levels.

Our team assists clients in obtaining LEED certification and Energy Star ratings for various buildings in their portfolio. We continue to trend, track and benchmark buildings on a monthly basis to understand the energy consumption and continue to develop new state-of-the-art strategies to improve the Energy Utilization Index (EUI) for each building. We believe that reducing facility energy consumption is an integral part of improving the environment for future generations.
